The US soccer season just started and several moves are on their way to USL teams. As for the Californian Sacramento Republic FC the new move is for the SSN represented Gilberto Souza.
The Brazilian who helped Sacramento put hands on the last year's USL Pro Championship is now back to Brazil. The friendly and talented midfielder who dazzled Sacramento crazies with his particular style has now a new challenge ahead of him. The American team just renewed his employment contract for another season plus the option for the team to double that at the end.
Gilberto who was spending his vacation time in Brazil received the news with a lot of excitement:
"I feel honored and at the same time excited with the news. First because of all trust SAC has placed in me for renewing my employment. And second, because Marilia AC needs additional support to compete on Campeonato Paulista Serie A. This championhip is one of the most disputed competitions in Brazil where I will get the chance to face Corinthians, Sao Paulo, Palmeiras, etc. Thank You Soccer Sport Network for this opportunity and for being the bridge between SAC and Marilia."
