The OC Blues played against Portland Timbers 2 for their first meeting of the 2016 USL campaign.
The game took place at UCI’s Anteater Stadium and both teams coming into the match on the back of claiming their first wins of the season.
However it was the Blues with Trevin Caesar who were able to extend their winning streak by claiming a 1-0 win.
Trevin’s goal and performance:
On the 39th minute of the game after a well work move, Akawafei Ajeakwa flicked on a header into the path of Trevin Caesar who took a touch into Portland’s penalty area then drilled the ball into the net. It was Caesar’s first goal for the Blues since his move from the Austin Aztex. They closed out the first half leading 1-0.
